Founded in 2004, ARGOS Construction is an independent engineering consulting firm specialising in contract management, disputes and claims, and corporate restructuring and disposal, for engineering, construction (building and civil works) and real estate.

Our expertise has been recognised for over 20 years in France and internationally: North Africa, Western and Central Europe, the Middle East and Australia.

The President

Jean-François Djanett

Jean-François Djanett

President - Founder

Trained as a Civil Works Engineer (ETP) and a graduate of IAE Paris (DESS in General Management and Administration), Jean-François Djanett founded ARGOS Construction in 2004.

He began his career at Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France before moving into consulting in 1992. The creation of Argos Construction is the natural continuation of a practice developed within major international audit and consulting firms, first at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) as a Director, then as an Associate Director at KPMG Audit.

His expertise has developed both in France and internationally, through contract management assignments, independent opinion work facilitating amicable settlements, and interventions as a designated expert in international arbitration proceedings (ICC). He leads numerous training sessions each year and has served as a court-appointed expert before more than 60 French commercial courts.

Our Team

Our Management Group combines skills in engineering, contract law, finance and project management. We operate in French and English across France and internationally.

Laurence Berger

Laurence Berger

Senior Manager

Laurence has been working at Argos Construction for over 25 years and is a Senior Manager in the insolvency proceedings practice. She provides technical assistance to receivers in connection with the settlement of accounts and the management of accounts receivable.
Her experience, combined with her rigour, efficiency and negotiation skills, enables her to lead a team managing accounts of all sizes, across all construction sectors and beyond.

Consultant

Civil engineer, Marine began her career at KPMG where she spent 4 years in the Business Unit “Restructuring – Transaction Services”, gaining expertise in insolvency / collective proceedings.

She joined Argos Construction in 2015, where she developed a dual expertise: advising companies through insolvency and collective proceedings and managing construction disputes, especially thought arbitration.

This dual background enables her to approach each matter with a combined technical, legal and financial perspective, grounded in the operational and contractual issues at stake.

Edouard Ferradou

Edouard Ferradou

Senior Manager

Edouard Ferradou is a civil engineer (graduated in 2010) who began his career at Louis Berger Group, Inc., on the construction of a 70 km motorway ring road around Algiers. He then joined Léon Grosse in 2014 as an all-trades site engineer on building renovation projects.

After these hands-on field experiences, he joined Argos Construction in 2016. He works on contract management, claims and arbitration, as well as company distress prevention and resolution. Within the firm, he has developed expertise in delay analysis and quantum assessments.

Simon Filleau

Consultant

A civil engineer with 6 years of field experience in France and abroad, on complex infrastructure projects, as well as in cost estimation, Simon Filleau joined Argos Construction in 2021.
His experience across all project phases — from design through to completion — enables him to deliver practical solutions in contract management and provide precise, rigorous analyses on delays and quantum.

Manager

Civil engineer with strong hands-on experience, Marine has built her career across major civil engineering projects in France and abroad.
She joined Argos Construction in 2022, bringing her technical and analytical skills to a wide range of assignments. Her dual background — site and consulting — enables her to approach disputes with rigour and a firm grasp of operational realities.
